Dear ISMB member,

It is with great sadness that I am writing to inform you of the death of Professor John Scott.

Prof. John E. Scott’s son, Peter Scott, recently contacted BSMB to share this sad news and told of Prof Scott’s passing on the 12th of July, Didsbury, Manchester. John passed away aged 81 years and the cremation ceremony, open to anyone who knew him, will take place at 2:40 pm on the 6th of August, at Macclesfield Cemetery.
