A 2 years post-doctoral position is available from January 2012 in Lyon (France) in the group of Florence Ruggiero at the « Institut de Génomique Fonctionnelle de Lyon » (IGFL, ENS-Lyon). The group is interested in the regulation of extracellular matrix (ECM) network and cell-matrix interactions in tissue development, repair and diseases. One of the main topics of the group concerns the role of the ECM in muscle-tendon formation and repair. The successful candidate will work on a project dealing with the analysis of molecular interactions between transcription factors, growth factors, and collagens driving the morphogenesis of tendon and myotendinous junction using 3D culture and
animal (zebrafish and mouse) models. This project will be conducted in close collaboration with Delphine Duprez (UPMC, Paris, France) and Manuel Koch (University of Cologne, Germany).
