On behalf of the Organising Committee, we feel highly honoured to welcome you to the 8th European Elastin Meeting in Toulouse. This meeting aims to cover the wide and dynamic area of basic and applied research, in elastin and elastin fibers and to strengthen the links and the interactions between the key topics in the field. We hope that it will be a very stimulating event, providing friendly exchanges and collaborations, and that you will enjoy your time in Toulouse, between history and modernity. During the meeting an afternoon has been reserved to go out and discover.
