The 29th LIAC Meeting on Vascular Research will be held from September 18-21, 2013 in Sassari/Alghero, Sardinia, Italy. The Conference is organized by the Department of Biomedical Sciences, University of Sassari.
The LIAC-Latinorum Investigatorum de Arteriis Colloquium- Society is a working group focusing on all scientific approaches regarding the vascular biology. Scientific covered fields include structural biology, biophysics, biochemistry, genetic, molecular biology, cell and tissue biology, pathologies and therapeutics. LIAC is devoted to: improving the quality of basic and applied research in all areas of vascular biology; enhancing communications between chemists, biologists and clinicians involved in these disciplines throughout the Latin world; promoting joint or coordinated projects within the framework of European Union.
Every year the LIAC organizes a Meeting in one of the four European countries that are represented in the scientific committee: France, Italy, Portugal and Spain. This year the organising committee is looking forward to hosting you at the meeting in Alghero, as we are glad to show you the beauty and the amazing historical background of this ancient town located on the sea shore.
